WWE News: Mandy Rose WWE: Former WWE Superstar Mandy Rose saw herself let go by the company earlier this month due to a breach of contract. It was reported that Mandy was posting explicit content on her BrandArmy page which risked her position in the Stamford-based organization. She was immediately stripped of her NXT Women’s Championship (as she lost to Roxanne Perez) and was released within 24 hours of the same. Follow WWE News and Updates with InsideSport.IN

Mandy’s defeat to Roxanne Perez marked the end of her 413-day run as the NXT Women’s Champion. Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s One On One, former SmackDown general manager Teddy Long expressed her views on the topic. He opined that WWE has its own rules and the company is not wrong to expect everyone to follow them. He also explained what Mandy might have thought before signing for the global juggernaut.

“There are certain rules and regulations. And you have to go by those rules and regulations – especially when you’re working for somebody else. You’re not on your own. A lot of times I think people just think smart. She probably knew she probably needed to reveal that to WWE before she started but she probably also thought, ‘Well, if I do that I may not get hired,’ so you know it’s like between a rock and a hard place. Like I said, hate to see her go. She was a great talent,” said Teddy Long. (H/T – Sportskeeda Wrestling)

WWE News: Kevin Nash comments on Mandy Rose’s release

WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash also commented on the shocking news of WWE getting rid of Mandy Rose.

Unlike Teddy, Kevin sided with Mandy and explained that Mandy was not doing something illegal.

“In this case, obviously she’s not making, I don’t think that Mandy would, if she was making seven figures, be doing anything to subsidize her employment and or income as she’s doing right now. Obviously she’s not making enough money… she’s not doing [anything illegal]. It’s not like she’s a prostitute! It’s not like, she’s not doing anything that’s against the law, you know.”
