Earlier this month, reports dropped out that WWE has released Sasha Banks from WWE. A few weeks back, Wrestling Inc’s Raj Gir broke the news of Sasha Banks’ release and WWE has let her go. However, the latest report from PWInsider shut the rumors at once.
As per the latest report, PWInsider noted Sasha Banks and Noami are still on the internal listing of WWE. They reported, “For those who continue to ask, as of this morning, Sasha Banks and Naomi remain listed on the active WWE roster internally. There has been no change in their status made internally since they walked out on that Raw taping several weeks ago. Neither have been officially released.” [via PWInsider]
The former tag team champions had disagreements with WWE’s creative team, who scrapped several plans regarding the women’s tag team match. It was noted WWE’s creative team booked both superstars to face Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair and SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey at Hell in a Cell.
However, Banks and Naomi walked out after several attempts to add the tag team titles on the notice.
WWE News: Sasha Banks and Noami’s contracts are set to expire
Last month, Sasha Banks and Noami walked from Monday Night Raw after handing their tag team titles. It was reported the contracts of both superstars were set to expire. Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio confirmed the former tag team champions’ contract news.

It is reported Banks’ contract will end soon followed by Naomi. Before both superstars walked out from Raw, both superstars were negotiating the new contract deals. Currently, there is no news of the official contract expiration date of both superstars.
