Although this wasn’t his first match in WWE, he already wrestled during his time in the NXT brand in a rivalry segment with Undisputed Era’s Adam Cole and his stablemates. Recently, Monday Night Raw commentator Corey Graves expressed his desire to fight Pat McAfee in a singles match.

During a recent interview with Wrestling Inc, Graves mentioned a potential match with NFL Punter Pat McAfee. Recalling the match between WWE Legend Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole at WrestleMania 27, Graves put forth his idea to battle Pat McAfee.

“Not to my knowledge was it ever discussed with any sense of legitimacy. But you’ve got to remember, there’s only one night a year RAW and SmackDown compete in a head-to-head competition, Survivor Series. I hope, I am going to start politicking now,” Graves said.
“I think McAfee and Graves at Survivor Series, I think we have to pass the bar that was set by Cole and Lawlor at WrestleMania,” said Graves.

Monday Night Raw Commentator Corey Graves is out of action since 2015. He used to perform on the NXT brand in singles and tag team matchups. But, because of several concussion outbreaks, he was advised to avoid competing in the ring.

Following the concussion protocols, Graves joined the commentary desk on NXT and is currently on the Raw brand. Recently, a few weeks back, the WWE commentator got cleared for his in-ring return. However, he kept himself out of the squared ring. But in the pastime, fans saw Graves winning the 24/7 championship and losing it later on shortly.
