WWE News: What Did Nick Khan Say?

WWE CEO Nick Khan recently spoke at the JP Morgan Global Technology, Media, and Communications Conference.

Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics posted tweets stating what Nick Khan said at the conference. One such tweet states that Nick Khan discussed plans of making Monday Night Raw more “adult”.

The tweet reads: Nick Khan at JPMorgan TMT now: “Raw is 3 hours. We don’t anticipate that changing.” They’re in discussions about what to do with the 10-11pm hour, whether to make it more “adult”.

What Else did Nick Khan say at the Conference?

  • Nick Khan stated that WWE is open to introducing a third hour of Friday Night SmackDown.
  • Regarding WWE talent development and recruiting, Khan said “We pay our women as well as we do our men.
  • Nick Khan talked about NXT being more than just a developmental brand.
  • He also spoke about U.S. media rights exclusive windows for Raw and SmackDown and said “We’re just out of the exclusive window with Fox. We’re still in the window with NBCU.
  • Another tweet by Brandon Thurston reads “Nick says WWE is in talks with a lot of international cities for 2024 PLEs and match those up with media rights. “Our goal is each one of the these premium live events should have some sort of subsidy. It’s going to take a while to get there.
