“I’ve been kept in the dark”, LA Knight says he is unaware of his “Pitch Black Match” match against Bray Wyatt
As noted earlier, WWE has announced a “Pitch-Black Match” at the upcoming Royal Rumble event. Last week on Friday Night SmackDown, WWE announced the match following Uncle Howdy’s attack on Bray Wyatt leaving LA Knight stunned.
Recently, LA Knight joined WWE’s The Bump where he detailed the recent segment of Friday Night SmackDown. Moreover, he also mentioned he has no idea about the Pitch-Black match ahead of his match at the WWE Royal Rumble.
“I’m feeling pretty damn good,” Knight told Kayla Braxton on “The Bump.” “Look at the breakdown he’s having, he can’t even keep his own goons in order,” (referred to Uncle Howdy’s attack).
“‘Pitch Black’ at the Royal Rumble, I don’t even know what that means, I don’t even know what that is,” he added. “But at the end of the day, does it really make a difference? No, it doesn’t.”
Further, Knight mentioned that he is not made aware of the match plans and doesn’t have an idea about them. However, he mentioned he promised the 2023 Royal Rumble would be special.
“I’ve been kept in the dark. Who knows if that’s by design? But with all of the malice, all of the feelings that I’ve had built up, I’ve got a lot to get out of my system.” [H/T Wrestling Inc]
LA Knight is confident to walk into the Royal Rumble being a threat to Bray Wyatt. However, no one knows what WWE has planned for the big event featuring several other matches and possible returns. Meanwhile, fans are wondering about Wyatt’s current character who attacked a cameraman a few weeks back and was the victim of Uncle Howdy’s attack.
