WWE News: Former WWE head writer reveals why he was not happy with Uncle Howdy segment
There have been mysterious attacks on LA Knight over the past few weeks which the latter thought is a work of Bray Wyatt. This past week on SmackDown, LA knight called out Wyatt as he looked for answers and much to the shock of the fans, Uncle Howdy appeared on live television for the first time. It proved that Wyatt and Howdy are two separate entities.
Speaking on the latest episode of his Wrestling With Freddie podcast, former WWE head writer Freddie Prinze Jr. explained why he was not happy with the segment:
“The smoke is not dissipating. You can’t even see half of the beatdown,” said Prinze Jr. on the latest episode of his podcast, “Wrestling With Freddie”. “Then, it gets smokier and you hear some new music, and here comes Uncle Howdy. I want to be kind this whole podcast, however, the mask and the hat has to be so big to fit over the mask [of Uncle Howdy], which is a huge mask. It made Uncle Howdy look like Hornswoggle was coming out. I’m looking [at Uncle Howdy going] ‘What the hell? How tall is that dude?'” Prinze Jr. continued. “It’s got to be [Bo Dallas], right? I’m sure he’s like 5’9″ or 5’10” at least, and this guy looks [like he’s 4 feet tall] …The mask and the hat have to be so big that it makes the rest of his body look so small.”

WWE News: WWE hired a horror writer for Bray Wyatt’s return
His comeback to the global juggernaut boosted the viewership of the event by a huge margin. The reason behind that is WWE kept the fans guessing by airing cryptic teasers throughout the build-up to Extreme Rules. The company’s CEO Stephanie McMahon also revealed that WWE hired a horror writer to plot the superstar’s return.
