Recently, Big E gave an update regarding his severe neck injury. During his latest visit to his doctor, Big E got shocking news regarding his injury and how he escaped from the death door.
Had my first doctor’s appointment and learning (because of the C1 fracture) I narrowly escaped a stroke, paralysis or death is very sobering. Life feels even more precious and valuable now.

Recently, he tweeted regarding his health update. He said, “Had my first doctor’s appointment and learning (because of the C1 fracture) I narrowly escaped a stroke, paralysis or death is very sobering. Life feels even more precious and valuable now.”
The injury was caused during the tag team match between The New Day against Sheamus and Ridge Holland. During the match, Ridge Holand gave a suplex to Big E, landing on his neck. As of now, Big E will be out of action for months, depending on his recovery period.

Earlier, the former WWE Champion was booked to compete in a 6 man tag team match at WrestleMania 38 alongside Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. However, with the recent injury, WWE scrapped their plans featuring Big E.
Since a few weeks back, The New Day was engaged in a brawl with Sheamus and Ridge Holland. WWE was planning to end their rivalry at WrestleMania 38, but now it’s on hold. Although Kofi Kingston was seen in a fight against Ridge Holland, it seems WWE might plan something for WrestleMania 38.
For now, Big E will be out of action for several months. It would take a long time for the fans to see him back in the ring.
