WWE News: Former world champion Sasha Banks is reportedly “done” with WWE
While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer expressed his thoughts on the situation. He professed that Sasha Banks is currently “done” with the company. However, he admitted that things could take a turn but as of now, there’s no hope of the Boss coming back to WWE.
“She’s not going back to WWE, but you cannot always rule that out. Maybe they’ll just say ‘She’s more trouble than she’s worth. She’s asking for so much money.’ Which is, of course, the attitude a month ago of ‘Oh my god how can she ask for so much money?’ January 4th Tokyo Dome and other dates, and Mercedes Vernado or whatever name she will go with, but as of right now – she’s done with WWE. It can change at any moment, but that’s the situation right now.” (H/T – RSN)

WWE News: Ric Flair says Sasha Banks will not join AEW
Ric Flair recently commented on the Sasha Banks situation after reports emerged that she is linked with a move to AEW. Speaking on his To Be The Man podcast, the Nature Boy stated that he has been in touch with Banks and it does not seem that she is interested in joining Tony Khan’s company.
“Absolutely [cannot imagine Sasha Banks not returning to WWE]. She wouldn’t go there [AEW]. She’s been in Mexico wrestling too. I talked to her. I’ve talked to her a couple of times. [Betting that she would wind up back in WWE?] Yeah, if she likes to do anything, she’s looking at outside options. (…) I hope that she gets back in the business.”

AEW could obviously afford that, so is it a deal where she does both? Perhaps.”
