WWE News: Former NXT Champion shares his thoughts on working with Rey Mysterio ahead of a potential feud
On the recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Karron Kross visited Rey Mysterio backstage hinting at a potential feud. Initially, the former NXT Champion talked about Dominik Mysterio’s betrayal and eventually challenged the Giant Killer in an upcoming feud with his catchphrase ‘Tick Tock’.
However, the Doom Walker always had a dream to work with one of the finest luchadors which had Rey Mysterio on top of his list. While speaking with Peter Rosenberg on The Ringer Wrestling Show, Kross mentioned his exhilaration in his upcoming feud with the WWE Legend.
“Over the moon, over the moon [excited to work with Rey Mysterio]. So, there was like three luchadors that I had on my list — four actually,” Kross mentioned.
“So, I’m a very big lucha libre fan, I understand it, I speak the language, and it was Dr. Wagner, wanted to work with Pentagon, Fenix, and I wanted to work with Rey and getting Rey, checking that name off the list for all these years has been very difficult [Kross smiled], and it seems like it’s gonna happen right now.” [H/T – POST Wrestling]

Earlier this year, Karrion Kross made his return to the company under Triple H’s regime. His first feud included former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre and soon he will face the Master of 619 in a potential feud. Meanwhile, Mysterio is dealing with an injury but the previous episode of WWE SmackDown hinted at his in-ring return.
