Drew McIntyre might leave WWE after his contract expiration
Drew McIntyre has been a great addition to the main roster since his main roster debut. He quickly became a fan favorite and eventually won the WWE Title. However, he is currently unhappy with the creative direction for the past two years after losing his title to Bobby Lashley.

As per Wade Keller, Drew McIntyre’s current WWE deal with expire in 12 months. Although the company is in the process to sign the former WWE Champion to another deal, McIntyre has kept the deal on hold due to both ‘creative and money’ issues.
“There’s been talk that he is unhappy with his current situation in WWE and I’m hearing it’s kind of a mix of creative and money and what kind of offer he’s getting for a renewal. It sounds like WWE is taking seriously the possibility that he is going to let his deal run out rather than agree to something that he believes is less than he deserves or less than he what he thinks he has coming.” [H/T Ewrestling News]
WWE reportedly pulled McIntyre from WWE SmackDown
After a great WrestleMania 39 match, Drew McIntyre was booked to appear at Friday Night SmackDown. Unfortunately, the 37-year-old was pulled out from the show due to illness. As per Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE decided to pull the Scottish Warrior from the show due to illness and the exact reason behind his illness is still unknown.
At WrestleMania 39, Drew McIntyre clashed with Sheamus and Gunther for the IC Title. Unfortunately, he was unsuccessful to dethrone the champion after an intense match. WWE Universe is also expecting a good push for Drew McIntyre after Vince McMahon poorly booked him at WrestleMania 38 against Happy Corbin.
