WWE News: Booker T on Shawn Michaels: WWE Legend Shawn Michaels was promoted to the position of Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative a few months back after Vince company owner Vince McMahon decided to step down as the CEO. For those who are unaware, the Heart Break Kid has been instrumental in developing talents working in NXT over the years. However, he has a much bigger role to play now with his best friend Triple H now in charge of the creative in WWE.

During the latest edition of his “Hall of Fame” podcast, former World Heavyweight Champion Booker T shed light on how SHAWN oversees the commentary on NXT. The veteran praised Michael as an encouraging figure and hailed his idea of constructive criticism.
“Shawn, he’s not like, ‘Hey guys, I need you to do this, I need you to do that.’ No, it’s not like that at all. But he has given input for me. I’m just now getting back. I’m just starting again, I’m just now getting my feet wet. So encouragement I think, is what Shawn has done for me more than anything. You know [such as], ‘Book man, you was good tonight but maybe let’s see if we can work on this next week.’ You know what I mean? Which for me is just constructive criticism.” (via ewrestlingnews)
WWE News: Booker T comments on where he needs to improve as a commentator
The WWE Hall of Famer is currently signed to WWE as a part of the NXT commentary team.
In the same interview, the 57-year-old explained that he needs to know the names of some of the wrestlers correctly.
“I know I need to know everybody’s names and I gotta make sure that — like say, for instance, I said Shotzi Blackheart. Which was a mistake, because she’s just Shotzi. So it’s little bitty things like that I need to be conscious of. And the only way I can be conscious of it is, I do my due diligence, study, and make sure to try not to make those same mistakes.” (via ewrestlingnews)

Booker T has been a popular star in WWE both as a wrestler and an authority figure. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in the year 2013.
