However, in a twist, Jimmy Uso returned at SummerSlam 2023 and cost Jey Uso the title. But, no explanation has been given for the shocking turn of events. What Did Paul Heyman Say?
Following WWE SummerSlam 2023, a press conference took place. At the Press conference, Heyman was questioned which inning they are currently in with the Bloodline’s story.
To this Heyman answered “Bottom of the third. We’re just figuring this stuff out. We haven’t even hit our stride yet. If you want to take the arrogant approach, I’m sure Paul Levesque will tell you all the box office records that have been smashed. Every Friday night when we show up at SmackDown, we’re always told, ‘This is the largest gate of this and the largest gate of that.’ ‘This is the largest premium live event.’ ‘This is the largest WrestleMania.’ Okay, we can sit there and point to what clearly drove all this, and it’s the Bloodline, and when I say the Bloodline, I mean the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns…What inning are we in? Bottom of the third. Wait until you see what we have in the fourth.”
The Wiseman also stated that “We continue to layer and peel back layers and reveal more about each persona, and just when you think you have the persona figured out, there is something new to learn about that person and their dynamic within the other people in the group,”
Recently, Jimmy Uso turned on his brother Jey Uso, so we’ll have to see what gets revealed about Jimmy Uso’s recent actions. Also, Heyman asked us to wait until we see what they have to unfold in the fourth inning. It is to be seen how the Bloodline story unfolds moving forward.
