Rey Mysterio revived The Latino World Order
On Friday Night SmackDown March 31, 2023 Rey Mysterio was seen in a backstage segment making preparations for his Hall of Fame induction that was supposed to take place following WWE SmackDown. Right then Legado Del Fantasma appeared to convey their respect for Rey Mysterio.
Then Santos Escobar told Rey Mysterio that Legado Del Fantasma will be there for Rey Mysterio if The Judgment Day interferes in his match against Dominik Mysterio at WrestleMania 39.
With that, Rey Mysterio handed them a shirt with the LWO logo on it. Thus Rey Mysterio revived the legendary faction LWO which now includes Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde, Raul Mendoza, Zelina Vega and Rey Mysterio himself.

In 1998, Eddie Guerrero primarily formed the LWO ( Latino World Order). Back then, Rey Mysterio primarily refused to join the faction. However, later Rey Mysterio lost a match to Eddie Guerrero and was forced to become a member of the group.
However, Rey Mysterio has an extremely personal match ahead of him at WrestleMania 39, where he will square of against his son Dominik Mysterio. The match was made official when on March 24 episode of Friday Night SmackDown Dominik Mysterio disrespected his mother and asked her to shut up. Rey Mysterio intervened and delivered a blow to Dominik Mysterio. He then accepted his son’s challenge for a match at WrestleMania 39. The match between Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio is currently scheduled for WrestleMania 2023 Night 1.
