WWE Draft 2023 Date: Why WWE Trade event separated into two days?
On the Raw episode following WrestleMania 39, Triple H made a comeback on television to honor the hardworking crew members and staff who contributed to the massive success of WrestleMania. His appearance served as a comforting presence for WWE fans who received news on the same day that the company was being acquired by Endeavor in a deal.
During the SmackDown show, Triple H expressed the need to focus on the future of the company and revealed that the Draft would be making a comeback in a “few weeks.” He emphasized that it would be the most significant Draft in WWE history, with all superstars in the promotion being eligible to participate.

According to a previous report by WRKD Wrestling, the WWE Draft is scheduled to take place on May 8th during the Raw episode that will be held in Jacksonville, Florida. Interestingly, this is also the home city of AEW.
Sources close to the matter have informed Fightful Select that the scheduling of the WWE Draft to coincide with the NFL Draft was a deliberate move. The 2023 NFL Draft is slated to April 28th, 2023, on SmackDown and will continue on May 1st, 2023, on RAW.
