Here are the potential heel and face turn that could occur during Saturday night’s Backlash event.
Backlash 2o23 Face-The Usos
The Bloodline storyline is still WWE’s biggest asset. The Usos’ next move is uncertain, and their relationship with Roman Reigns is tense. Solo Sikoa has been treated better by Reigns, leading to speculation that Jey and Jimmy may turn face soon. This would add new challengers to Reigns’ reign and keep the storyline fresh.

Bray Wyatt and Alexa Bliss are set to return to WWE together, with Bliss cleared to compete. Wyatt’s comeback depends on his health, as he reportedly has an issue. There are rumors of a possible heel turn for Wyatt, with speculation that he may restart his program with Alexa Bliss and seek revenge against Bobby Lashley for his loss of the United States Championship. Wyatt’s last run as a heel was during his feud with Braun Strowman in 2019-20 as The Fiend.
Backlash 2023 Heel: Matt Riddle
Matt Riddle is in a tricky spot on Raw, with the top babyfaces being crowded and his feud with The Bloodline being halted by a draft.
