Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACMM) Harjeet Singh Jaspal was scheduled to pass the order on Saturday. He noted that the probe by the city police is still in progress and a supplementary charge sheet is likely to be filed.

As per the Delhi Police, certain information like call records and FSL report is yet to come. “Since FSL report and report on CDR (call detail record) is awaited it is likely to take time. Put up for consideration for July 7,” the judge said.

On June 15, the Delhi Police filed a chargesheet based on the FIR filed against Singh. It was filed under sections 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage modesty), 354A (sexual harassment) and 354D (stalking) of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

Singh has so far refuted every accusation. He has stated that if even one of them is found to be true, he will hang himself.

Meanwhile, the Wrestlers who were on a month long protest against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh will return to the sport. Bajrang Punia and Vinesh Phogat will move abroad this weekend for training and competition to prepare for the selection trials for the World Championships and the Asian Games.

Bajrang is set to travel to Kyrgystan. Vinesh Phogat meanwhile will first travel to Bishkek before ging to Hungary. The proposals were sanctioned on Thursday under the government’s Target Olympic Podium Scheme (TOPS).
