Recently, Vince McMahon appeared on the Pat McAfee show after several years in an interview. During his interview, he gave the NFL Punter a WrestleMania 38 match.
Later on Friday Night SmackDown, Austin Theory revealed himself as Pat McAfee’s WrestleMania opponent. Both men have already hyped the match at WrestleMania with their recent interaction on SmackDown where Austin slapped Pat McAfee.
Eventually, the original plan for the match was to put Vince himself on the grandest stage alongside Austin Theory. However, recent reports suggest that Vince McMahon will not be a part of the match. However, fans could expect Vince McMahon’s appearance in order to help Austin Theory.

WrestleMania 38: Does Vince McMahon gives special treatment to Austin Theory?
Austin Theory is a young superstar and his NXT run was quite ran well. After his main roster debut, WWE fans saw Austin Theory in backstage segments with Vince McMahon.
It all started when Austin Theory stole Vince McMahon’s Cleopatra Egg gifted by The Rock himself. The storyline buildup was pretty amazing when Vince gave Austin Theory a WWE Title match against Big E.
With passing weeks, fans saw Vince and Theory in many backstage segments where the WWE Chairman gave advice to Austin Theory to make him a big superstar. Eventually, fans also got involved in it, and finally, Austin Theory got a WrestleMania match. It will be his first WrestleMania match since his arrival.

It is quite obvious that Vince gave special attention to Austin Theory, involving himself in the backstage segments to build Austin Theory. At WrestleMania 38, Austin Theory will battle against Pat McAfee.
