Austin Theory vs Rey Mysterio vs Santos Escobar vs LA Knight for the United States Championship
On Friday Night SmackDown this week, Rey Mysterio is all set to face Santos Escobar in the United States Championship Invitational Finals and the winner of the match will get a shot at the title. However, previously LA Knight was a fan favorite to reach the finals but Rey Mysterio defeated Knight, Grimes, and Sheamus to qualify into the finals. On the other hand, last week Santos Escobar defeated Austin Theory in a non-title match.
Thus, a furious LA Knight might interfere during the match and attack Rey Mysterio, while Theory might launch an attack on Santos Escobar. This might lead to the match ending in a brawl. With that, a Fatal Four-Way Match might be announced for WWE SummerSlam 2023, where Austin Theory will defend the United States Championship against Rey Mysterio, Santos Escobar, and LA Knight.
AJ Styles vs Karrion Kross
Karrion Kross and AJ Styles have been feuding for a long time now. Last week, Karrion Kross attacked AJ Styles’ fellow stablemate Karl Anderson backstage.
With that, this week on Friday Night SmackDown, Karl Anderson will go one-on-one against Karrion Kross. However, Kross might defeat Anderson and continue to assault him.
