Solo Sikoa Next Opponents
Dave Meltzer recently stated that before SummerSlam 2023, the main focus will be on Roman Reigns and Jey Uso. However, after SummerSlam 2023, Solo Sikoa might face Roman Reigns and Jey Uso in singles matches.
Meltzer speculated that following SummerSlam, WWE might have plans for Dream matches including Solo Sikoa against Roman Reigns and Jey Uso.
He stated “And this one, they’re confident enough that they’re hot enough that they don’t have to focus everything on Roman and Jey. And Jey is the big part. It is the big one, but they’re focusing so much on Solo, just telling you because I think they won an even bigger peak when they come to Roman and Solo and maybe Jey and Solo. At some point, you could do that stemming from everything.“
He continued “Well, I think the obvious thing is, you know, that Jey’s losing to Roman. And so Jey and Solo can have a big feud afterward, and Jey can get a big win over Solo with something that Roman does to cost Solo the match, which builds up the split between Solo and Roman, right?” (H/T: WrestlingNews.co)
Thus, it seems like moving forward, Solo Sikoa’s next opponents will be none other than Roman Reigns and Jey Uso.
When was Solo Sikoa last seen on WWE television?
Solo Sikoa along with the entire Bloodline was last seen on Friday Night SmackDown last week. The Trial of Roman Reigns was set to take place in this episode, however, Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa wreaked havoc during the segment.
Roman Reigns launched a surprise attack on Jey Uso during the ongoing trial and Solo Sikoa joined the suit. Solo took out Jimmy and attacked Jey. Sikoa continued the assault and held Jey by the ropes. Following that, Solo delivered a Samoan Spike to Jey and nailed a Splash on Jimmy through the announcer’s table. As a result of that, Jimmy was rushed to a medical facility, while Jey Uso challenged Roman Reigns to a match.
If the showdown between Jey and Roman takes place at SummerSlam, we’ll have to see how WWE includes Solo Sikoa into the storyline moving forward.
