Roman Reigns Title Split Rumours
Roman Reigns currently holds the WWE Championship (381 days held) and the WWE Universal Championship (962 days held). The WWE Championship is a world heavyweight championship promoted by WWE, representing its raw brand. While, the WWE Universal Championship is a World heavyweight championship promoted by WWE, representing its SmackDown brand.
Roman Reigns is currently the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. However, with the WWE Draft 2023 approaching, WWE might take away one of the Tribal Chief’s Titles to give each brand its own title. If that happens then a new WWE Champion will be crowned.
However, there were rumours that Reigns might drop one of the titles at Draft 2023. If that happens then The Tribal Chief would drop the WWE Championship, because then also he will be able to March towards 1000 days with the WWE Universal Championship.
But, if Reigns doesn’t drop one of his titles and instead loses it then a different storyline could rise and even a betrayal from Paul Heyman might take place. However, it is to be seen who will be crowned as the new WWE Champion. Besides Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins also stands a chance to be crowned as the new WWE Champion.
