MMA Rules Added to SummerSlam 2023
Previously, the parent company of UFC, Endeavor, acquired WWE. A UFC-WWE merger had turned several heads and raised several eyebrows. Now, the MMA Rules stipulation has been added to Ronda Rousey vs Shayna Baszler SummerSlam 2023 Match. The major reason for adding this stipulation could be the UFC-WWE merger and since both Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler are well-known for their time in UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship).
On Monday Night Raw this week, WWE played a video package starring Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler. Following the end of the video, it was announced that Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler will face each other at the upcoming pay-per-view event WWE SummerSlam 2023 in a MMA Rules Match.
