WWE NXT North American Championship Match: Wes Lee vs Dominik Mysterio
The match began with Wes Lee in control, however, that soon changed. Dominik Mysterio nailed a dropkick and delivered the 619. Dominik then went for a Splash but missed.
Lee then nailed a Superkick followed by a tornado DDT. Dominik went to the floor and Lee came with a suicide dive. Back in the ring, Lee nailed a twisting splash and was about to cover, when Damian Priest and Finn Balor interfered. However, Lee handled them, but Rhea Ripley interfered as well. Meanwhile, Mysterio nailed the Splash for the win. Thus, Dominik Mysterio defeated Wes Lee to become the new NXT North American Champion.
It is to be noted that, Damian Priest recently became Mr. Money in the Bank 2023. On the other hand, Rhea Ripley is the Women’s World Champion in WWE. Also, Finn Balor has a match scheduled at WWE SummerSlam 2023 against Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship. And now, Dominik Mysterio became the new NXT North American Champion.
