The WWE was reportedly talking about having John Cena serve as a special guest host for Saturday’s WWE Payback event in Pittsburgh, according to a report on Thursday. In addition, Rhodes will appear on Payback as a special guest for The Grayson Waller Effect’s PLE debut.
It’s interesting to note that Rhodes was recently introduced to the SmackDown on September 8 in Boston, Massachusetts, Cena’s hometown. Due to his commitment to the Superstar Spectacle in India, Cena won’t be present that evening.
