Crocodile Dundee had nothing on me,” a figure named Bob Miller reportedly remarked. Bob Miller was born in Auckland in 1944 but was reared in Wellington.

In 1964, Miller battled for legendary New Zealand combat sportsman John da Silva on the NW New Zealand (later All-Star Pro Wrestling) circuit.

Williams used to refer to Miller as “Bob The Chest” back then.

Famous New Zealand promoter Steve Rickard hired the two Kiwis as a tag team for the US tour.

It was the beginning of a roller coaster journey that lasted until 2001.

The Kiwis first participated in the Canada tour, when they took home the 1974 Stampede International Tag Team Title.

To participate in the well-known wrestling TV show On the Mat in New Zealand, they occasionally travelled back home.

Nonetheless, they returned to North America and wrestled with great success on the NWA Pacific North West circuit and on Canada’s International All-star Wrestling tour under the new name, The Sheepherders.

Butch’ teamed up with Williams again in 1983 to fight as the Sheepherders in the South West Championship Wrestling (SWC) camp where they achieved great success

The Bushwhackers were ranked 71st in the top 100 tag teams of all time by Pro Wrestling Illustrated magazine in 2003, two years after their final professional match.

Miller and Williams collaborated in 2018 to produce An Evening With The Bushwhackers as part of the Ultimate Wrestling Invasion tour in New Zealand.

Williams posted on Facebook that when the Bushwhackers got back together for Wrestlemania in Los Angeles, “none of us knew it would be our last days together and his last days of life.”

The relationship that was developed through many fights and enjoyable moments away from the ring persisted.

Williams remarked, “If you were to read the account of my life, it would claim that I am an only child, but it would be incorrect. In real life, I had a brother who went by the name of Bob Miller.
