 Big Show:Paul Wight, a current wrestler for AEW, is known for his willingness to embrace change throughout his career. He first appeared in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in 1995 under the name The Giant, with an initial gimmick of being “the son of Andre the Giant.” Wight later joined the Dungeon of Doom stable but eventually became a member of the New World Order (nWo) faction led by Hulk Hogan. In 1997, Wight switched to the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), which is now known as WWE, where he joined the Corporation stable and adopted the persona of the Big Show after turning heel. In a recent interview with Inside The Ropes, Wight disclosed the true cause of his departure from WWE.

Big Show said:-

Well it was it wasn’t an easy decision by no means but the reason I left was basically just uh opportunity um I had let’s be honest I’ve done everything that I could do in the WB.I’ve turned heel face more times than NASCAR drivers turned left, it was just uh it was just one of those kind of things where I saw that WWE was doing different things and the role that they wanted for me which would have been a great role it had been an ambassador role it would have been you know golden parachute kind of a thing and um you know I could have wrote out my career there and finished  it out but I wasn’t ready for that I had some injuries in the past with a hip injury and I wasn’t you know as an athlete when you’re when you go through a serious injury and you fight to get back from that injury you want to compete you know and I was lucky enough to compete against Drew after WrestleMania which is the first match.

Goldberg’s final bout took place at the Elimination Chamber event held in Saudi Arabia in February 2022, where he was defeated by Reigns in a Universal Championship match. This encounter occurred almost six weeks prior to Reigns’ victory over Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38, which led to Reigns being crowned as the undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
