It’s no secret that Dwayne Johnson values his alone time, and he often chooses to spend it in his personal gym, dubbed the “Iron Paradise.” However, during a recent holiday at his mansion, The Rock opted for a different form of solitary relaxation: fishing.
Despite being an accomplished actor and wrestler, Johnson also has a talent for angling, as evidenced by his impressive catch from the lake. Dwayne Johnson shared his impressive fishing experience on social media, detailing how he carefully strategized his approach to catch a big fish. He patiently waited for the fish to chase a baitfish towards the inlet of the lake, before casting his line about three feet ahead of it. After letting the bait drop for a few seconds, he reeled it in slowly, using a technique called slow rolling.
When the fish finally took the bait, Johnson used a light tackle and carefully maneuvered the catch instead of trying to forcefully drag it onto the bank. He even got into the water to safely remove the fish from his hook. Indeed, it was quite an impressive catch. Meanwhile, as we head to MITB, WWE fans are waiting for him to enter the ring.
