WWE announced Riddle suffered a brachial plexus injury, which canceled the plans for Seth Rollins. On the other hand, the Visionary apologized to the fans for missing the SummerSlam Premium Live Event this Saturday. In return, WWE’s new creative head Triple H responded to Rollins teasing a backup plan for the grand slam champion.

Recently, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio explained Triple H’s move to respond to Seth Rollins. As per Meltzer, the 14-time WWE Champion might have a backup plan for Seth Rollins.

“They moved it [Rollins vs Riddle] to Clash at the Castle for whatever reason. That’s what they did,” stated Dave Meltzer. “And I got the impression from that tweet that it’s like Triple H kind of ‘babyfacing’ himself where he takes away a match, and you’re all disappointed. Well, injury takes away the match, although it’s a worked injury. So, he comes and saves the day and, you know, announces a match…” [H/T RingsideNews]
Precisely, WWE might be planning something big for Seth Rollins for SummerSlam. However, there are no confirmations for Seth Rollins’ appearance at SummerSlam.

WWE fans have speculated the names of former Universal Champion The Fiend aka Bray Wyatt and former NXT Champion Johnny Gargano. Since The Game’s response to Rollins’ tweet, Seth Rollins is trending on Twitter for a possible match with returning superstars. Earlier this year, Johnny Gargano left NXT without renewing his contract. However, he didn’t sign any other promotion since his departure. On the other hand, WWE is also in talks with The Fiend for a possible return.
