Recently, Big E was featured in an interview with MMA Hour, where he mentioned his in-ring future. The 36-year-old has been with WWE for a long time, with several title reigns. Unfortunately, his recent injury has put him on the sidelines raising questions on his wrestling career.
While talking to the MMA Hour, Big E mentioned how the neck injury has made things difficult for him. Although he doesn’t require any surgery, for now, he is in critical condition. He provided an update on his neck injury where he said that his C-1 had been healed fibrously, despite that, it is debilitated. In other words, if Big E gets back in the ring and gets hit one more time, he might break his neck once again.

In addition, Big E kept talking about the other injuries he went through during his wrestling career.

Big E has been with WWE for a long time. He is the second WWE NXT Champion who defeated Seth Rollins for the title. While talking ot the MMA Hour, Big E mentioned how being a WWE Superstar brought him into a new world.
He said, “When I got hired, I was 23 … I think it was a time in my life where if I had died in the ring, cool. I got to do what I love, and I went out there in the ring. Now at 36, having worked through a lot of those things and being mentally healthier, this job has allowed me to meet so many different people from so many different walks of life and have so many different experiences.” [H/T Wrestling Inc]

Big E specified he has decided nothing for now, but he still has many things to do apart from his wrestling career. Currently, the former WWE Champion will be part of WWE SummerSlam weekend as a judge for WWE tryouts alongside Triple H.
