WWE SmackDown Results: Another week and another edition of Friday Night SmackDown awaits the WWE Universe. This week’s show streamed live from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

Theory gets a brutal assault: In the main event, Paul Heyman addressed the WWE Universe ahead of the SummerSlam match between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. Heyman mentioned Roman Reigns to be standing tall and decimating Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam. Meanwhile, Brock Lesnar showed up to confront Paul Heyman, however, Theory attacked Lesnar with his MITB briefcase but failed to attack him.

Later, Lesnar attacked Theory with the MITB briefcase and delivered suplexes in the ring. Later, Theory escaped from Lesnar’s clutches but ended up getting hit by a Claymore from Drew McIntyre. In the end, McIntyre and Lesnar confronted each other.

The Viking Raiders vs The New Day: Erik and Xavier Woods start the match for their respective teams. Woods gave a clean start for the match and switched tag to Kofi Kingston. However, Erik counters and tags Ivar in the match. The Viking Raiders continuously changed tags dominating Kofi Kingston. Later, Ivar slammed himself on Kingston on the barricade leaving the former champion helpless.

The match continued with Xavier Woods and Erik. Woods showed his agility in the ring with a tornado DDT to Erik. Soon, the tag changed to Kofi who delivered a frog splash to pin Erik, however, Ivar comes in to save the match. Later, the Viking Raiders decimate Kofi Kingston to win the match.

Later that match, the Viking Raiders brutalized Xavier Woods by attacking the injured leg, leaving Woods in pain.

The Usos knockout Jeff Jarrett: The Usos and The Street Profits confronted each other before their SummerSlam match against each other. In addition, special guest referee Jeff Jarrett appeared on Friday Night SmackDown to settle things between the two teams. However, things messed up when both teams fought against each other.

The Usos and The Street Profits went violent against each other when Jey Uso accidentally kicked Jeff Jarrett with a superkick. Although The Usos tried to apologize, Jarrett refuse to hear their apology.

Liv Morgan & Ronda Rousey vs Natalya & Sonya Deville: Ronda Rousey and Natalya started the match with Ronda using her grappling skills to overpower Natalya. Later, tags switched on both sides with Liv Morgan and Sonya Deville. Morgan delivered a running knee, switching the tag to Ronda. However, both women lacked good communication which gave an advantage to Natalya and Sonya Deville.

Natalya overpowered Morgan and tossed her on the ringside. The match continued in the ring with Liv Morgan struggling to get back. Sonya Deville and Natalya used their double team to take down Morgan. However, Morag gets her momentum in the match and used a codebreaker to counter Natalya.

Morgan had a chance to switch tags, but she denied it. Natalya and Sonya Deville continue to humiliate the champion. However, Ronda Rousey tagged her in and overpowered both women. In the end, Ronda Rousey caught Sonya Deville in the ankle lock to win.

Shotzi vs Aliyah: Aliyah competed against Shotzi in a one-on-one match. Aliyah started with a rough tart with a neck lock and unleashed a vicious attack on Shotzi. However, Shotzi countered and caught Aliyah in a submission hold, but Aliyah escapes. Once again, Shotzi strikes back attacking her opponent.

In the end. Shotzi attacked Aliyah with her finisher to win her victory over Aliyah but Shotzi stood in the ring laughing over. Meanwhile, Ronda Rousey showed slammed Shotzi getting rid of her.

Happy Corbin attacks Pat McAfee: Happy Corbin showed up on the ringside in the audience to annoy Pat McAfee once again. Eventually, attacking McAfee with a low blow while the SmackDown commentator was distracted.

Drew McIntyre vs Sheamus: Friday Night SmackDown kicked off with Drew McIntyre and Sheamus. As soon as McIntyre made his entrance, Sheamus attacked him from behind and dragged him to the ring. The referee started the match with both men engaged in a brawl exchanging heavy blows to each other. Sheamus gave a rough start to the match attacking the former WWE Champion.

Later, fans saw Drew McIntyre and Sheamus in action on the ringside, where Sheamus smashed the Scottish Warrior into the steel steps. The match continued with Celtic Warrior’s dominance, where he humiliated Drew McIntyre, followed by the infamous chest chops on the apron. Once again, both men fought each other on the sidelines where McIntyre made his comeback with a side suplex to Sheamus, followed by a vicious attack.

Both men competed back in the ring where McIntyre drove him into the turnbuckle. Slowly, McIntyre picked his momentum in the match with consecutive strikes and brought the steel chairs. However, Sheamus threw a chair on the Scottish warrior to counter his next move but McIntyre delivered a future shock DDT.

Meanwhile, Ridge Holland attacked the former WWE Champion while Sheamus delivered a kick to pin his opponent. Surprisingly, Drew McIntyre kicked off and attacked Holland on the sidelines. The match continued with Sheamus and McIntyre on the top rope where McIntyre tossed the Celtic Warrior from the top rope.

Later, Butch aided Sheamus in the match to deliver the white noise, but McIntyre kicked out the pin. Later, McIntyre counters and delivers a Claymore to Butch followed by a Brogue kick from Sheamus. Once again, McIntyre kicked out the pin with frustration on Sheamus’ face. Later, McIntyre made his comeback with a Claymore to win the match.

Later that match, Kayla Braxton interviewed McIntyre in the ring where Mr. MITB showed up to attack the Scottish warrior.
