Almost every top star of the Blue brand would be gracing the show, but one man to look forward to would be Drew McIntyre.
The Scottish Warrior Drew McIntyre had a disappointing showing at Survivor Series. He was the lynchpin of Team Smackdown in the 5-on-5 traditional elimination tag-team match but couldn’t help her team cross the victory line as he got eliminated via count-out. WWE Smackdown Predictions: Challenges Roman Reigns
We all know why Drew McIntyre was drafted to Friday Night Smackdown, and we all are eager to see him step up and challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship. Survivor Series was the final PPV of WWE for this year, and the next in line is on new year’s day i.e., January 1, 2022, named WWE Day 1.
Universal Championship would be defended at the WWE Day 1 PPV, but the question here is who will challenge the Tribal Chief for the championship title? Could it be Drew McIntyre, or will the Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar arrive before Royal Rumble PPV and confront Roman Reigns? We will have to wait and see if Drew McIntyre gets his nod ahead of Brock Lesnar to challenge Reigns.

Teaming up with King Woods to take on The Usos could be another option for the Scottish Warrior to look forward to. If he wishes to challenge Roman Reigns now, he could do it systematically. He should first take care of The Usos, who have played a pivotal role in helping Roman Reigns retain the Universal Championship numerous times.
King Woods is already in a sort of feud with the Bloodline, and he won’t get any better helping hand than Drew McIntyre to decimate The Bloodline. If Drew steps up to Roman Reigns this week, it would be good for him to align himself with King Woods first and destroy The Usos first.

Brock Lesnar’s arrival is something that has to be taken care of by WWE. The indefinite suspension of the Beast Incarnate is seemingly lifted, which means he would be returning anytime to hunt Roman Reigns.
This may halt Drew McIntyre’s push to challenge Roman Reigns next. Therefore, we could see the Scottish Warrior continue with his open challenges and destroy every & any opponent coming his way.
