WWE Smackdown Result and Highlights: Top three moments of Friday Night Smackdown- This week’s Friday Night Smackdown took place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, and we were treated to some tremendous matches.
Despite Roman Reigns not being on the show, tonight’s Smackdown was graced by the Beast Brock Lesnar’s presence, who ensured he was active almost the entire night. So, what were the top 3 moments of the night? Let’s check out.
WWE Smackdown Result and Highlights: The New Day reigned supreme over the tag-team champions
The main event of the night saw three of the greatest tag teams of this generation competing in a triple-threat match. The New Day vs. Smackdown tag-team Champions The Usos vs. Raw tag-team Champions Randy Orton & Riddle.

It was a quality match that lasted for around 20 minutes, and surprisingly the team without the championship title reigned supreme over the champions. Sir Kofi and King Woods kept their spirits high and pinned one of The Usos to win the match and earned the right to be called the Best Tag-Team.

Having pinned one of the Usos will give New Day the much-needed kick for their championship match against them at the WWE Day 1 PPV event on January 1, 2022.
WWE Smackdown Highlights: Brock Lesnar trumped Sami Zayn yet again
Two weeks in a row, the Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar has destroyed Sami Zayn. Friday Night Smackdown was opened by Sami Zayn, who came on a wheelchair with a neck brace and a plaster on his left leg. He was accompanied by two male nurses in the ring.

Sami said he was robbed of his title opportunity last week and deserved better treatment. The segment was first interrupted by Paul Heyman and then by Brock Lesnar. The Beast first tried to be friends with Sami Zayn by telling him that they both are from Canada and they need to catch up quite often.

The segment took a ridiculous turn when Paul Heyman provoked and motivated Brock Lesnar to be the “Beast” he is, and Sami Zayn had to pay the price. After clearing the ring by sending the two male nurses outside, Lesnar nailed a devastating F5 on the already injured Sami Zayn.

WWE Smackdown Highlights: Xia Li’s debut
Xia Li’s debut was announced already last week, but none of us thought that she would appear on the Blue brand to save Naomi from a possible beatdown from the trio of Sonya Deville, Natalya, and Shayna Baszler.

Xia made a dramatic debut tonight when Nami was caught between Sonya, Shayna, and Natalya, who were all set to assault her. Xia came in and evened the odds by helping Naomi evade a possible 3 on 1 assault.
