WWE Raw Results: Randy Orton Gives a Brief Note on Teaming With Cody Rhodes on Raw
On the recent episode of Monday Night Raw, the Raw tag team champion Randy Orton allied with Cody Rhodes, Ezekiel, and Riddle in an 8-man tag team match. Orton had a great experience to share the ring with the returning superstar Cody Rhodes.

It’s been a long time since Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton teamed up together for a match on Monday Night Raw. During his post-match interview, he recalled his experience working with Ezekiel and Cody Rhodes. Eventually, Orton hinted he was still unaware of Cody Rhodes’ nature and he had changed a lot since his absence from WWE.

“Ezekiel, he’s great. I liked Elias, we got along, so I feel like I’m probably going to get along with Zeek too. Riddle, you know me and him, we’re like this [crosses fingers]. Who else was out there with me? Cody! Oh my god, Cody – The American Nightmare. You know, I don’t know how I feel about Cody yet. He just came back, he was gone somewhere else for a few years. I got to sit back, wait, and time will tell if Cody has changed or not. Tonight, Cody seemed like… everyone was here to have a good time and a good time is what we had,” said Orton. [H/T Sportskeeda]
Although Randy Orton denied giving his views on the former Intercontinental Champion, both superstars are close friends since Rhodes’ first run in WWE. Currently, Randy Orton is stuck to his character, but both men share a close bond.
Earlier, both men were a part of the Legacy faction that dominated the roster during Cody’s first run. The multiple-time champion helped Cody Rhodes to build his character during his early days in WWE. Also, The American Nightmare recalled many funny incidents of Randy Orton off-screen.
