Recently, in an interview on WWE’s digital platform, Orton took shots at Roman Reigns, Dwayne Johnson, and John Cena. Here is what the 14-time World Champion said.

“You know, a lot of people ask me what my legacy will be. I think, if we are talking WWE more specifically my legacy will be that I was the next guy after The Undertaker that was the only person that never went anywhere else, and had more matches, more titles, and more accolades. I don’t care, Roman Reigns, I’m sure he’s got Dwayne Johnson’s agent’s number on speed dial. Roman will be in Hollywood — I’ll still be here. I’m in my prime, ladies, and gentlemen. I’ve got a long way to go. My legacy will be that I did it longer than anybody.”

Many superstars in the past have come to WWE, got their fame here, and went on to Hollywood. Dwayne Johnson left WWE in the early 2000s when was offered the scorpion, King. John Cena has been a part-timer since 2017 when he started concentrating on his Hollywood career. Dave Batista is also a similar example who left in early 2010s.

If Randy Orton stays on another decade he could be one of the only superstar other than the Undertaker who has worked for the WWE for three decades continues. He could also be on track to break the glorious record of 17 World Championships which he trails by just three.
