In the Elimination Chamber, Edge and Beth Phoenix faced Rhea Ripley and Finn Balor in a mixed tag team match. However, the Grit Couple won the match with a shatter machine on Finn Balor.

On the other hand, Austin Theory entered the Elimination Chamber Match for the WWE United States Championship with five other opponents. They include Seth Rollins, Montez Ford, Johnny Gargano, Damian Priest and Bronson Reed. However, Theory retained his title by eliminating Seth Rollins with A-Town Down.

Following the end of the spectacular Elimination Chamber 2023, a press conference took place. Austin Theory answered questions and gave an open challenge to anyone to face him for the US Title on Monday Night Raw.
Following Theory’s Q/A segment, The Grit Couple, Edge and Beth Phoenix took questions. Right then, Edge announced that he is ready to accept Austin Theory’s challenge. Edge said that he hasn’t had gold in a while. But the WWE Superstar also acknowledged the fact that he retired as the world Heavyweight champion.
Edge added “Maybe we prove that Monday when I accept his US Championship Open Challenge. I think I need to kick his teeth down his throat. So that’s going to happen in Ottawa if he accepts.”
