Austin Theory wins, last eliminating Seth Rollins by pinfall with A-Town Down to retain the WWE United States Championship.

A long, long beat while the crowd chants and both men simply stare at each other, Zayn with a bit more levity, Reigns with the dead-eyed look of a man that knows that he’s surrounded by 10,000 of his worst enemies. Roman circling, the crowd getting under his skin with alternating “OLE!” and “Fuck you, Roman!” chants, finally to business with a collar and elbow!

Reigns shifts to a side headlock, shot off, shoulder block and he throws his one up! Back to circling, a smirk plays across Roman’s face, Sami with a side headlock, wrenching it in, taking the Tribal Chief to one knee. Shot off, big back elbow and now Reigns is feeling himself and taunting the crowd.

Off the ropes, back body drop sends Roman to the floor and Sami comes off the ropes with a tope con giro! Back inside, mounted punches in the corner, Montreal singing along until Zayn increases the speed to where they can’t keep up! On the second, diving elbow, cover for one!

Smashing Reigns into the turnbuckles, off the second with another elbow but Roman cuts Sami out of midair with a right hand! Throwing Zayn to the floor like a sack of garbage, following after him, smashing him face-first into the apron and yelling at some fans before hitting the Drive-By!

Back inside, Sami throws a desperate chop and Reigns clobbers him with a forearm! The Tribal Chief taunting the crowd, disparaging their chants, more chops from Zayn! Off the ropes, a big slicing right cuts Sami off and Roman has jokes for Paul Heyman!

Reigns jawing at Sami’s wife at ringside, talking about how he wanted to provide for her family, before hammering Zayn with corner lariats! Dumping him to the floor in front of her, Roman follows after and keeps jawing at her, holding Sami down in front of her and telling her it’s his fault.

Heading over to the base of the ramp, a big headbutt staggers Zayn, back inside, Sami’s out of gas and Roman is stalking around him. To his feet, trading forearms with everything he has left but Reigns kicks his leg out from under him! Whip across, springboard evasion and Zayn hits a lariat for breathing room!

The Tribal Chief shakes his head, staggered, while Sami fights up to his feet, fired up! Right hands, whip reversed, another big lariat takes the champion off his feet! Lariat sends Roman to the floor, Zayn follows, punching him right in front of his wife before coming back to kiss her!

Back inside, up top, Reigns cuts Sami off with a right hand! Up top, jockeying for position… AVALANCHE SUNSET FLIP POWERBOMB CAN’T KEEP ROMAN REIGNS DOWN FOR THREE! Zayn to his feet, pulling Roman up, looking for the Blue Thunder Driver but Reigns blocks with elbows and hits a Rock Bottom… NOT ENOUGH!

Sami dragging himself to his feet in the corner, Roman calls for it… SUPERMAN PUNCH REVERSED INTO THE EXPLODER SUPLEX INTO THE TURNBUCKLES! SAMI HAS HIM LINED UP BUT THE SUPERMAN PUNCH COUNTERS THE HELLUVA KICK! ZAYN KICKS OUT!

Both men rising slow, Reigns to his feet first, soaking in the hatred of the crowd, howling, leapfrog the spear, folding schoolboy… STILL NO! Another exploder into the turnbuckles, Sami’s fired up and he cocks his fist! SUPERMAN PUNCH TAKES ROMAN OFF HIS FEET! HELLUVA KICK CONNECTS BUT ROMAN KICKS OUT AT THE LAST FRACTION OF A SECOND!

Waiting for Reigns to get up, Zayn charges in but the Tribal Chief rolls to the floor! Sami goes out after him and lines him up for the tornado DDT through the corner… ROMAN CUTS HIM OFF WITH A FOREARM! Charging around, full head of steam… SAMI SIDESTEPS AND REIGNS GOES HARD THROUGH THE BARRICADE!

Back inside, duck a Superman Punch… ROMAN KICKS OUT OF THE BLUE THUNDER DRIVER! Sami psyches himself back up, goes for the Blue Thunder Driver again, blocked, Roman rams him into the corner and takes referee Dan Engler out in the process! Across the ring and Sami hits a Helluva Kick for a count of about twenty but no referee means no count!

Sami checks on Engler and he just falls out of the ring! Jimmy Uso is here and clobbers Zayn with superkicks! Three in total, Uso goes up top and hits the splash! He wakes Roman up and drags him into a cover, referee Ryan Tran makes it to the ring… SAMI ZAYN KICKS OUT AGAINST ALL ODDS!

Both men spent, trying to find their last reservoir, to open the firmaments for one last gasp. Reigns jawing, Zayn throws punches from his knees and to his feet, Roman off the ropes and he connects with a headbutt! Jawing at Sami in the ropes, Zayn clobbers him, Reigns almost takes Tran out!

Zayn stomping a mudhole in the corner, Ryan admonishes him, Helluva Kick for Jimmy but Sami turns around into a spear… AND KICKS OUT! SAMI KICKS OUT OF THE SPEAR! Roman jawing while Sami can barely keep his head up, telling him he’s nothing without him and how he elevated him and this is how he repays him?

Roman with disdainful slaps, defiant resolve playing across Sami’s face, slap of his own, duck a Superman Punch and Ryan Tran goes down! Superman Punch from Zayn, one from Roman, both down and out! Reigns has directions for Heyman, who goes under the ring and gets a chair and passes it to his Tribal Chief.

JEY USO IS HERE! He faces Roman, and Reigns tells him it’s him or Zayn, he has to choose, and hands him the chair. Uso takes the chair reluctantly and turns to face Sami. Roman walks past him, Jey waits, Reigns takes the chair from him and piefaces him!

Zayn wakes up and accidentally spears Jey Uso! Roman wails on Sami with the chair over and over! Reigns with the spear, Dan Engler slides in but Zayn can only get a leg up and not his shoulder…

Roman Reigns wins by pinfall with a spear, retaining the WWE Undisputed Championship.

Post-match, Jimmy Uso puts boots to Sami— KEVIN OWENS MAKES THE SAVE! KICK TO THE GUT AND A STUNNER ON ROMAN! ONE FOR JIMMY TOO!

To the floor, Owens grabs a chair but Paul Heyman attacks him from behind with desperate punches! KO turns around and Heyman begs off, telling Kev he always wanted to be with him and not Roman— STUNNER TAKES PAUL E DANGEROUSLY OUT! Sami and Roman both rise about the same time, Owens takes a step back for his old friend… HELLUVA KICK!

Kev takes his leave, taking a long look at Sami at the bottom of the ramp. He stops at the stage for another as emotion comes over Zayn and he considers the totality of what’s happened.

Austin Theory (c) vs. Bronson Reed vs. Damian Priest vs. Johnny Gargano vs. Montez Ford vs. Seth Rollins (WWE United States Championship Elimination Chamber Match)

Rollins and Gargano to start, off the ropes, drop down, leapfrog, ducking and dodging, trading sunset flips for two. Seth with a fireman’s carry, Johnny with elbows, slipping to the outside, Superman Spear blocked, underhooks, back body drop, Gargano hits the Superman Spear to the outside as the countdown timer ticks…

Austin Theory is out third.

Theory clobbering Rollins with kicks, choking Gargano in the steel, roll-through stomp back on Seth, throwing Johnny into the Lexan! Austin holding court, going back and forth until he gets caught with alternating forearms from the two babyfaces! Theory trying to form an alliance with his old mentor, but Gargano isn’t having it and just clocks him!

Austin goes and tries to lock himself back in his pod but Rollins comes in the back door with ease and batters Theory into the Lexan! They beat him down and the countdown timer ticks…

Damian Priest is out fourth.

Priest running hot, Broken Arrow for Gargano, springboard cut off by Rollins, Pedigree blocked, Dirty Deeds connects! Lifting reverse STO takes Johnny out, back to Seth, backflip out of the goozle but he gets caught by a Killswitch… NOPE! Theory returns and gets crushed by Damian on the outside!

Reversals with Rollins, Priest boxes his ears but eats an enzuigiri! Gargano nails him with a kick, Theory has the rolling thunder dropkick, and Damian takes him out with a kick! Priest up top, Rollins meets him, superplex, roll through into the Falcon Arrow… NOPE!

The countdown timer ticks…

Bronson Reed is out fifth.

Rock Bottom Gargano into Rollins to complete an inverted DDT, stacking ‘em up, corner body avalanche, double fireman’s carry for a double Samoan Drop! Throwing Priest into the steel, body avalanche follows and Damian is down and out! Shoulder block for Theory and Reed is dominating!

The countdown timer ticks…

Montez Ford is out sixth.

Ford is ready for Bronson and lays him out with a kick, hammering Austin with kicks, big spinebuster connects! Montez teases a People’s Elbow but Reed cuts him off! Theory with a fireman’s carry on the big man, Bronson slips out, short-arm snap scoop powerslam!

Gargano with forearms, superkick fakeout, buzzsaw roundhouse ducked, electric chair, Seth with a Doomsday Device, Gargano turns it into a Poison Frankensteiner on Reed, Ford tries to pick the bones but Bronson kicks out! All six men down and out, Ford dives but Priest catches him and lays him out on the outside!

Looking for a powerbomb, Montez grabs the cage wall and climbs! He keeps going, up the wall and hanging upside down from the roof… DIVING SPLASH OFF THE TOP OF THE CHAMBER AND INTO THE CRUSH! Superkick parties stagger Reed, One Final Beat connects, Rollins charges in with Blackout, Ford off the top…

Montez Ford eliminates Bronson Reed by pinfall with a frog splash.

Priest clobbers Ford, Rollins and Gargano go to work on Damian, but Theory picks Seth off and trades forearms with him. Double leg, catapult but Rollins catches the wall and climbs up! Austin climbs right with him and Johnny and Damian are climbing up the other side of the pod!

Seth and Johnny are sitting on the same pod and turn to face each other, sharing a moment before trading wild punches with each other! Smashing Gargano’s face into the exterior Lexan wall, Rollins with a powerbomb lift… JOHNNY REVERSES AVALANCHE FRANKENSTEINER OFF THE POD DANGERRRROUS!

Priest to his feet, Gargano crawling towards him, Damian blocks a forearm, Johnny ducks a lariat, tornado DDT on the outside! Superkick cuts a dive from Theory off, one for Montez as well and Gargano’s fired up! Snap DDT on the outside takes Austin out, enzuigiri to Priest, Damian cuts him off with a punch… RAZOR’S EDGE! JOHNNY’S OUT!

Damian Priest eliminates Johnny Gargano by pinfall with a Razor’s Edge.

Priest and Rollins trading right hands, Damian with kicks, Seth catches on and the trading continues, Pedigree blocked, roundhouse kick connects! Ford climbing up top, Priest cuts him off, but Montez and Seth work together…

Montez Ford and Seth Rollins eliminate Damian Priest by pinfall with a powerbomb / blockbuster combination.

Seth hits a Liger Bomb on Theory for a nearfall, referee Rod Zapata checks on Montez Ford, who needs medics to assist him out of the ring. Seth goes for Blackout, Austin ducks, Rollins slips out of A-Town Down and hits a Pedigree! Waiting for Theory to post up on his hands, but Logan Paul runs in through the open door and hits Buckshot! He follows it up with Blackout before referee Rod Zapata shoos him away!

Austin Theory wins, last eliminating Seth Rollins by pinfall with A-Town Down to retain the WWE United States Championship.


We see Roman Reigns backstage drinking C4s but curiously not the Skittles flavor, which is objectively the best flavor of C4. Seems disrespectful to not provide the Tribal Chief with the best flavor but what do I know, I just liveblog wrestling shows.

Beth Phoenix & Edge vs. Judgment Day (Finn Balor & Rhea Ripley)

Edge and Finn to start, Balor grabs a side headlock, shot off, shoulder block, taunting Beth and the Rated R Superstar drops him with a forearm! Mounted punches in the corner, tag made, Poetry in Motion takes Finn out and he tags Ripley in! Collar and elbow, trading lariats, Rhea slugs her down and Dominik gives her a pep talk on the apron.

Jawing at each other, Ripley calls for a test of strength, Riptide denied, Rhea bails to the floor and Beth throws her into the steel steps! Heading up top, Finn keeps referee Eddie Orengo distracted and Mysterio crotches Phoenix in the turnbuckles!

Edge runs Dom off, Rhea working Phoenix over and Mysterio returns to the stage! Off the ropes, kidney shots, Beth firing punches back, knocking Balor off the apron, reaching for the tag and spiking Rhea with a DDT when she can’t get it! Finn crawls under the ring and pulls Edge away from the tag, hitting the inverted headlock elbow drop on the floor!

Beth blocks Riptide again and puts Rhea into the turnbuckles! Ripley climbs up top and hoists her up but Phoenix hammers her with back elbows! Up top, jockeying for position… SUPERPLEX! Tags made, Edge lighting Finn up with lariats, a flapjack, front kick, Impaler blocked, double leg into a stomp, Edge rolls away and locks him in the Edgecator!

Beth grabs her own Edgecator on Rhea, Orengo is busy keeping Dom from running in and Ripley blasts Phoenix with a headbutt and clocks Edge with brass knuckles that Mysterio tossed her! Dragging Finn on for the cover… BETH PHOENIX BREAKS IT UP AT THE LAST POSSIBLE SECOND!

Beth throws Dom into the ropes to block the Coup de Grace, Rhea slams her into the barricade, Edge and Finn up top and struggling! Ripley and Phoenix under them… STEREO POWERBOMBS ON THE MEN! We get a slow motion replay of Dom throwing the knucks as he gets some chairs out of the ring and does feng shui on the steel steps.

Looking for a Con-Chair-To on Beth on the steps while Finn holds Edge back, but Phoenix slips out and bounces Rhea into the steps! GLAM SLAM ON THE FLOOR! IMPALER DDT IN THE RING AND EDGE DIVES ON DOMINIK! Back inside, Sling Blade counters the spear, but Edge gets the spear on the second try!

Beth Phoenix & Edge win by pinfall with Shatter Machine on Finn Balor.

A Cody Rhodes comeback video package follows.

We see Ariel Helwani and Georges St. Pierre in the crowd.

We get a preview of this year’s WrestleMania Goes Hollywood videos featuring Seth Rollins as the Joker.

Bobby Lashley vs. Brock Lesnar

Lesnar stampedes Lashley into the corner, shoulder thrust into a belly-to-belly suplex! Outside and back in, Bob catches him with the spear… SO CLOSE! Brock slow to rise, Lashley charges in and hits a second spear! Laying in wait, but Lesnar counters and hits the F-5… STILL NO!

Fireman’s carry, a second F-5… LASHLEY WON’T STAY DOWN! A third F-5 attempt, Bob slips out, off the ropes and he hits the spear! Yelling for Brock to get up, trying for the Hurt Lock and he gets his hands clasped! Lesnar’s in trouble and fading! Brock straightens up and mule kicks Bob right in the gentleman’s area!

Referee Chad Patton has no choice but to call it…

Bobby Lashley wins by disqualification.

Brock F-5’s Patton! He picks Bob up again… ANOTHER F-5! To the floor… F-5 THROUGH THE ANNOUNCE DESK! LESNAR PULLS CHAD PATTON OUT OF THE RING AND F-5S HIM INTO THE WRECKAGE OF THE ANNOUNCE TABLE!

Asuka vs. Carmella vs. Liv Morgan vs. Natalya vs. Nikki Cross vs. Raquel Rodriguez (WWE Raw Women’s Championship #1 Contender’s Elimination Chamber Match)

Asuka enters and looks great except she has to do her trademark gold banana hammock over tights. I don’t get it. Anyway, she’s not too bad. Carmella enters wearing lime green. No, baby, this is no way to follow a sexy murderclown. Raquel Rodriguez comes in wearing a spaceoid Tron onesie thing. It is not flattering.

Nikki Cross comes in in tight pleather separates, blue with a red cap. Now We’re Talking. She looks really good actually. K back to the crap. Natalya comes in wearing some peppermint stripe version of Raquel’s thing, except it looks like the pink-white glam version of a skinless person from Hellraiser. You know what, that’s too harsh, she’s kind of making it work. Actually the more I look at it it looks like some kind of wacky Kirby New Gods kind of design. Like a bounty hunter tracking down Mister Miracle across time and space.

Liv Morgan wears shredded denim and it’s clear the entire thing is build to make you look at her ass. I’m here for it (a lesbian). Also a fan of the bondage motif around the upper thorax. Bye!

Natalya and Liv to start, headlock, shot off, shoulder block, to the outside and Morgan throws her into the steel a few times! Choking her in the steel, Neidhart turns things around and throws her into Nikki Cross’s pod a few times, bouncing her off the Lexan!

Slingshot Atomic Drop puts Liv into the wall, Nattie chokes her as the countdown timer ticks…

Raquel Rodriguez is out third.

Raquel stacks ‘em up, Stinger Splash, bieling Natalya across the ring and hitting a fallaway slam on Morgan! Fireman’s carry on the outside, Rodriguez ramming Nattie into the steel a few times, Liv goes for a crossbody, Raquel catches her at first but Neidhart turns it into a sunset flip into the cage!

Neidhart picking the legs, stomping Liv’s midsection, kicked away, trying to roll through, reversed, victory roll for two! Liv with a kick combination, Nattie swats her aside, neckbreaker makes Morgan hit a Codebreaker on Rodriguez and the countdown timer ticks…

Nikki Cross is out fourth.

Cross puts Rodriguez into the post shoulder first, slings Natalya to the floor, Morgan with an enzuigiri and the action goes to the floor! Catapulting Liv into the Lexan, grinding Raquel’s face into Carmella’s pod, Nikki climbs up top and finally takes her jacket off… PLANCHA OFF THE TOP OF THE POD WIPING EVERYBODY OUT!

She immediately tries opportunistic covers and comes up empty! Jawing at Asuka for reasons beyond mortal ken, Raquel stampedes Nikki through a pod! Carmella goes and hides in an open pod for her own safety and Rodriguez takes her out…

Rodriguez throws Liv at the wall, she grabs on and climbs, so Raquel turns and nails Natalya with a boot before stampeding her into the turnbuckles. Rodriguez in the turnbuckles, Liv with a sunset flip off the top of a pod into a powerbomb, Carmella looks to steal it… BUT RAQUEL KICKS OUT!

The countdown timer ticks…

Asuka is out sixth.

Asuka immediately starts taking it to Carmella, smashing her into the steel again and again and again to the tune of “Asuka’s gonna kill you!” chants! Uraken after Uraken, kicks, Mella ducks and Asuka kicks the Lexan! Back ina the ring, off the ropes, sliding kick!

Asuka turns to face Raquel, Uraken blocked, shoulder block takes her down but Asuka reverses into the octopus! Rodriguez powers out, on her shoulder, Asuka slips out of Snake Eyes and takes her out with a roundhouse kick! Morgan with a missile dropkick on the Empress for two!

Nattie in, powerbomb lift, Liv slips out, Codebreaker connects but Carmella blocks Oblvion with a superkick! Neidhart has the Sharpshooter in the middle of the ring! Asuka adds an Ode to Jim Breaks…

Asuka and Natalya eliminate Liv Morgan by submission with a Sharpshooter / Ode to Jim Breaks combo.

Asuka takes it to Nattie, Carmella slides in and steals it…

Carmella eliminates Natalya by pinfall with a later press.

Raquel gets Asuka up for the powerbomb, Carmella with a chop block, truce established, laying kicks in on Rodriguez…

Asuka and Carmella eliminate Raquel Rodriguez by pinfall with a double pin.

 

Carmella right in with a superkick… ASUKA KICKS OUT! Trading pinning predicaments, Asuka grabs a scissored armbar… IT’S OVER!

Asuka wins, last eliminating Carmella by submission with a scissored armbar to become #1 contender to the WWE Raw Women’s Championship.
