On Thursday, WWE held the fourth quarter earnings call in the presence of Nick Khan (CEO), Triple H (Chief Content Officer) and Frank Riddick (CFO).

In the earnings call, they released their entire year’s results. According to reports, WWE’s overall revenue increased by 18 per cent, which brought $ 1.3 billion to the company and this is the highest in the company’s history.
A question-answer session with the analysts was also held during the call. During this session, Nick Khan talked about the possible sale of the company and also the possibilities of what might happen with the upcoming media rights negotiations.
Nick Khan stated that if a new owner acquires WWE, the pre-existing media rights held by NBC Universal and Fox should be respected. Nick Khan also teased the fact that the first ‘renewal rights window’ could begin in April, just after WrestleMania 39.
Also, when Khan was questioned about negotiating a potential WWE Sale along with a new media rights deal, Khan exclaimed that more bidders will get a chance to make an offer. Addressing everyone, Nick Khan mentioned that a first bid will kick in shortly for both Raw and Smackdown.
