Austin Theory vs Edge – United States Championship Match

Austin Theory and Edge entered the ring respectively.

Edge gained control over Theory in the beginning of the match. Edge dragged Theory out of the ring and planted him on the floor. Back in the ring, Edge delivered a Russian leg sweep and a backdrop on Theory.

Theory fought back with a clothesline and the fallaway slam. Theory went on to work on Edge and delivered a dropkick.

Theory attempted the superplex and Edge threw him and delivered a crossbody. Edge then came with a clothesline and a flapjack. Edge catched Theory and powerbombed him.

Edge tried to deliver the spear but failed and Theory went for a monkey flip. Theory went for A-Town Down and Edge delivered the Edgecution.

Finn Balor appeared and kicked Edge as Austin Theory delivered the A-Town Down for the win.

Thus, Austin Theory defeated Edge and retained his United States Championship Title.

Following the end of the match, Balor delivered the Coup de Grace thrice on Edge.

Bobby Lashley vs Elias

Elias entered the ring and asked Rick Boogs to take notice. Elias asked who would like to walk with Elias at WrestleMania. Bobby Lashley walked out.

Lashley slammed Elias repeatedly and speared him. Lashley then locked Elias in the Hurt lock. Lashley highlighted that no one can break the hurt lock. Thus, from now on he shall not be disrespected or he will take everyone down.

Chad Gable vs Bronson Reed

The match began and Bronson Reed knocked down Chad Gable. The fight continued with the duo exchanging strikes. Gable gained control and knocked down Reed. Gable delivered the diving headbutt. Reed delivered a clothesline.

Gable attacked Reed and Reed delivered a powerslam. Finally, Reed delivered the tsunami for the victory.

Thus, Bronson Reed defeated Chad Gable.

Ding Dong Hello!

The show Ding Dong Hello with Bayley started. Bayley welcomed IYO SKY and Dakota Kai of Damage CTRL as her guests. She asked Dakota Kai about her feelings about being the greatest women’s Tag Team Champions. Dakota stated that it has been over 100 days since they became champions and promised to continue the reign.

With that, Becky Lynch walked out. Lynch stated that she wants to bag those titles.

With that Lita walked out. Lita challenged them to a title match and Bayley accepted. Thus, Lita and Lynch are the new tag team partners and the match is an official one.

Lita and Lynch took the titles from Damage CTRL and posed with them and then threw them at SKY and Kai.

Seth Rollins vs The Miz

Seth Rollins dominated in the beginning of the match. Rollins slammed Miz into the announcement table.

Rollins attacked Miz and sent him out of the ring. Rollins then delivered the sliding dropkick on the A-lister. Miz gained control and delivered a DDT.

Rollins then attacked The Miz and delivered several clotheslines to him. Rollins attempted the pedigree and failed, Miz went for a skull-crushing finale and failed.

The duo charged head on but however, Rollins knocked Miz down and delivered the stomp. He then delivered stomp after stomp when the referee called for the bell and  stopped the match.

Thus, Seth Rollins won.

Asuka vs Nikki Cross

Asuka walked out and entered the ring for her match with Nikki Cross. Entered Nikki Cross and Bianca Belair walked out.

The match began with Nikki Cross ruling over Asuka. The duo exchanged strikes. Nikki with a chop, Asuka with knee strikes and Nikki with a reverse DDT.

Asuka took charge and delivered a German Suplex and DDT from the top rope. The match proceeds further with both women charging head-to-head. Finally, Asuka locked Nikki in the submission hold for the win.

Thus, Asuka defeated Nikki Cross.

Following the match, Asuka and Bianca Belair had a staredown. Belair held her title and pointed at the WrestleMania signboard. With that, Asuka had a blue liquid coming out of her mouth which scared Belair.

Cody Rhodes Segment

Cody Rhodes walked out and entered the ring. Cody Rhodes was about to talk when Paul Heyman appeared on the titantron. With a neckbrace, Heyman asked Cody if he beats Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, how will life be for him?

Heyman highlighted that if he wins, he would be busy for over 300 days a year. He asked if Cody is willing to make this sacrifice.

However, Rhodes didn’t pursue what Heyman said. He instead warned Reigns not to send Heyman again. Rhodes stated that though Reigns is the greatest, he has to finish the story and beat Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39.

Dolph Ziggler vs Mustafa Ali 

Ziggler and Ali entered the ring. Ziggler knocked down Ali and delivered a clothesline. Following it, Ziggler delivered a neckbreaker. Ali took charge and attacked Ziggler.

Ali delivered a kick to Ziggler while Ziggler delivered a DDT. Finally, Ali countered with a Famouser and rolled up Ziggler for the win.

Thus, Mustafa Ali defeated Dolph Ziggler.

Sami Zayn vs Baron Corbin

Following the attack on Sami Zayn, Baron Corbin entered the ring and stated that Sami Zayn’s story is over. However, Adam Pearce helped Zayn and made the match an official one.

The match started with Corbin all over Zayn. Corbin torn Zayn’s short and Zayn headed to the middle rope. However, Corbin took down Zayn with a chokeslam. Zayn took control and delivered a boot to the jaw with  a tornado DDT. Zayn attempted a Helluva kick which Corbin stopped him and delivered a couple of clothesline.

Finally, Zayn delivered a Helluva kick for the win. Thus, Sami Zayn defeated Baron Corbin.

WWE Raw Kicked off with Sami Zayn

Monday Night Raw kicked off with Sami Zayn. With a big cheer from the audience, Zayn walked into the ring. Zayn addressed the ovation he received following his match with Roman Reigns at the Elimination Chamber, said that it meant a lot to him. He said that he is also surrounded by guilt.

Zayn then went on to call Kevin Owens. KO walked out and entered the ring with a massive cheer from the crowd. Zayn stated that KO said to him that he will end The Bloodline and according to Zayn, they should do it together.

However, Owens stated that he would like to continue the fight against The Bloodline alone and asked Zayn to talk to Jey. With that Zayn took his leave. Right then, Baron Corbin attacked Sami Zayn and tossed him into the barricade.
