Kurt Angle drops honest opinion about Cody Rhodes: Olympian Kurt Angle gets real about WWE star’s future
On a recent episode of the Kurt Angle Show, Kurt Angle spoke about several topics. One such topic was Cody Rhodes. Angle spoke highly about Rhodes and his place in WWE after becoming the winner of the Men’s Royal Rumble Match.
The WWE Hall Of Famer said that Cody Rhodes is a “huge star“. He further stated that Rhodes will be main-eventing WrestleMania this year because he is a huge star. He said that Cody Rhodes is a star since the day he entered WWE.
Angle further referred to Rhodes as “the American Dream’s son“. The WWE legend added: “I’m not surprised by any means he’s at the level he is right now”
Thus, Kurt Angle showered praises on The American Nightmare ahead of his match with Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39. However, this is not the first time Angle has spoken highly of Rhodes. Previously, Angle said, “He was one of the top five guys in WWE that I had my eyes on to work with.”
The Olympic Gold Medalist also called Cody Rhodes “Destined To Be One Of The Greatest“.
What’s Next for Cody Rhodes?
Cody Rhodes returned to WWE and participated in the men’s Royal Rumble match. He successfully outlasted 29 other Wrestlers to become the winner of the match. With that, he chose to fight Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39 for the WWE Universal Championship.
Reigns have recently won the Elimination Chamber match against Sami Zayn and thus, Rhodes and Reigns will be facing each other at The Showcase of the Immortals.
