Recently, the Olympic Gold medalist Kurt Angle shared a picture featuring him with an NJPW Championship alongside Brock Lesnar. Also, Kurt Angle wrote “NPJW Champions in the captions highlighting their successful run in NJPW. Both men were champions in NJPW where Angle defeated Lesnar to become the new NJPW World Champion.

The picture is a throwback from NJPW where Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar fought in a World Championship match at Toukon Bom-Ba-Ye from Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, Japan. The match had an intense fight between the two individuals where Angle caught Brock Lesnar in an ankle lock submission hold to win the match.
