WWE SmackDown Results: Former NXT Superstar Debuts As Manager In A Dark Match in a New Stable
Mace is a former member of the Retribution Faction led by Mustafa Ali in 2020. After Mace left his commentary role on Monday Night Raw in 2020, he joined the faction, ailing himself with Mustafa Ali, T-Bar, Mia Yim, and other members.
It was Dio Maddin aka Mace’s first time into the ring with Retribution in WWE. However, the plans for the faction were disbanded later on as it got low support from the fans. Although T-Bar and Mace aligned themselves in tag team action on Monday Night Raw until they spilt during the 2021 WWE Draft. Since then, Mace wasn’t seen on live tv.

Earlier, there were rumors regarding LA Knight and Raquel Rodriguez’s shift to the main roster. It was also rumored that LA Knight would be seen in a new role for the WWE fans because of his immense mic skills. As per the pictures from Twitter, LA Knight appeared in a dark segment as Mace’s manager. Moreover, Mace also underwent a character change. However, his character change is not yet revealed.

Although both men haven’t shown up on TV yet, they might debut themselves on SmackDown soon. LA Knight is a lot more talented with his mic skills. With this new role as Mace’s manager, LA Knight would try to promote Mace and give him a good start on the SmackDown brand.
There are many superstars on the sister whom LA Kight could target for Mace’s first match. He might go after the New Day, the faction of Sheamus, or Ricochet for a possible match. On the other hand, Mace will debut in a different character, which could drag him into the spotlight.
