WrestleMania 36 was held at WWE’s Performance Center where the two women collided for the first time. After several months of build-up, both superstars finally got their chance to prove themselves in a much-anticipated match of the year.
At WrestleMania 36 Night 2, Charlotte Flair challenged Rhea Ripley for the NXT Women’s Championship. The match featured both women competing at their top level with big spots and a ruthless beatdown. Although Ripley tried to dominate the match with her sheer strength, Flari was way ahead of her game to close the match with her victory.
The match also featured some tough spots where Ripley and Flair gave their absolute best to keep the momentum of the match. After a hard-fought battle, the match neared its conclusion when the Queen locked Ripley in Figure 8- Leg Lock winning the match via submission. This was one of the top matches of Charlotte Flair’s WWE career with a newborn star from the NXT brand.
