Roman Reigns vs Sami Zayn reportedly locked for Elimination Chamber next month
Following the Royal Rumble main event between Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens, the Head of the Table successfully defended his Undisputed Universal Title. However, The Bloodline broke apart after Sami Zayn betrayed Reigns after he refused to hit Owens with the steel chair. Eventually, WWE fans saw Zayn hitting the steel chair on the Tribal Chief’s back.
This led to the aftermath brutal assault on both Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. Roman Reigns and The Bloodline decimated Zayn with multiple chair strikes leaving him helpless in the ring. On the other hand, the shocking turn of events saw Jey Uso leaving the Bloodline after his betrayal.
Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn is now as confirmed as it can be for the Feb 18 Elimination Chamber show main event in Montreal.

Recently, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio mentioned a potential match between Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn at the Elimination Chamber. He reported that the two superstars are almost locked for the Elimination Chamber PLE next month.
“Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn is now as confirmed as it can be for the 2/18 Elimination Chamber show main event in Montreal. I’m not sure what the men’s chamber match would be for since you’ve got Cody Rhodes already for the main event at WrestleMania. Of course this is WWE and everything is subject to change, but major changes to planned PPV shows have been less with Paul Levesque in charge.” [H/T Ringside News]
Currently, Cody Rhodes is the top challenger for Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39 but there are rumors regarding WWE possibly splitting the titles before Mania. This could allow another superstar to step into the title picture to face the Head of the Table. Also, there are talks of Reigns defending his title on both nights of WrestleMania 39 and might lose one of his titles.
