WWE News: Update on Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens’ future storyline after backstage brawl: Roman Reigns and The Bloodline were victorious at the Survivor Series WarGames after an intense match. The match featured an unplanned spot between Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens which led to a backstage controversy after the show. According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Reigns and Owens had a backstage controversy and a large bruise was also noticeable under Roman Reigns’ left eye. Moreover, he yelled at Kevin Owens backstage.

Recently, several sources mentioned that the Undisputed Champion was enraged due to an unplanned incident. Also, he was not able to digest the fact of the unplanned spot in the first place. However, as reported, the situation was back to normal after 20 minutes, as it didn’t happen.
“There was a backstage controversy after the show. During the men’s War Games match, Owens slapped Reigns and the shot landed hard. Reigns had a big bruise visible from it under the left eye and there were unconfirmed reports that his left eardrum was ruptured.
There was definitely a left eardrum injury. Reigns was furious and backstage after went off on Owens, with swearing and such. According to numerous sources, Reigns was mad both because of the injury but also because it wasn’t a spot he had known about and felt it didn’t make sense to do it in the match. Some said it happened, Reigns was obviously furious, but it largely blew over by 20 minutes later.”
Currently, WWE has planned the former Universal Champion in a possible storyline with The Tribal Chief at Royal Rumble PLE. Both men will continue to work on equal grounds to continue their rivalry for a possible gimmick match as reported earlier. Reigns and Owens had already faced each other a long time back and once again they will lock horns in a big match.
