The former Universal Champion’s deal with the company was nearing an end on January 22, but now WWE has managed to keep him on board with a new lucrative multi-year deal.

WWE News – Kevin Owens New WWE Contract: As per WrestleVotes, WWE had been working quite hard to make Owens sign a new deal. Now with Owens still part of WWE, the company will be looking to put him in the main event scene going forward. Here’s what WrestleVotes told via Twitter,

“Kevin Owens re-signs with WWE as first reported by @SeanRossSapp. I can add that WWE felt strongly about keeping Owens & wanted to get this deal done for a while now. I’d imagine KO will remain part of the main event scene going forward.”

WWE News: A new deal means Owens will compete at Royal Rumble PPV 

Kevin Owens’ previous WWE deal was coming to an end on January 22, which means his participation in the Royal Rumble PPV, scheduled on 29 January, was skeptical. However, now it seems like the former Universal Champion will compete at the Royal Rumble PPV event.

WWE News: What next for Kevin Owens?

Owens is scheduled to compete at the WWE Day 1 PPV in a fatal 4-way WWE Championship match. Besides Owens, Bobby Lashley, Seth Rollins, and the defending WWE Champion Big E are the other competitors. It would be one of the most grueling matches of the night, and we can not wait for it, especially when we know Kevin Owens will stay in the company.
