Next week, WWE is heading for Clash at the Castle in Cardiff, Wales. Recently, WWE tapped the Friday Night SmackDown episode for next week before Clash at the Castle Premium Live Event. WWE fans saw several new segments where fans spotted the former champion back in his old ring gear.

In the latest tappings for Friday Night SmackDown, Butch (Pete Dunne) competed in a match against Ludwig Kaiser. However, WWE Universe noted Butch wearing his old NXT ring gear. A tweet from PSG NEWS ONLY showed Butch in his old ring gear alongside Ridge Holland and Sheamus. The former NXT Champion seemed comfortable in the old gear and defeated Ludwig Kaiser in an epic showdown.
The former NXT Champion was a valuable asset to the NXT brand under his bruiserweight gimmick, who held the NXT UK Title for 685 days.

On the recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown, the Celtic Warrior Sheamus and Intercontinental Champion Gunther had an epic staredown. In addition, Sheamus gave a bold warning to the Ring General ahead of their match at Clash at the Castle.
While the two men confronted each other, Butch unleashed an attack on Ludwig Kaiser with consecutive blows to him. Although Ridge Holland tried to join the party, Kaiser drove him into the timekeeper’s area and continued his fight against Butch. In the end, Sheamus and Gunther stopped their proteges and left the ring.
