WWE SmackDown Live Results August 26th, live blog & live streaming details: Another week and another edition of Friday Night SmackDown awaits the WWE Universe. This week’s show streamed live from the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan.
Roman Reigns decimates Drew McIntyre: After Drew McIntyre defeated Sami Zayn, Roman Reigns sneaked in to attack the former WWE Champion. Drew McIntyre tried to fight back but Roman Reigns delivered a spear. Later on, The Usos decimated McIntyre with multiple chair shots.
The destruction continues on the ringside where Sami Zayn delivers another blow with a Heluva kick and smashed McIntyre into the steel steps. In the end, Roman Reigns caught him in the guillotine and talked trash about Drew McIntyre.
Drew McIntyre vs Sami Zayn: Drew McIntyre faced Sami Zayn in the main event of Friday Night SmackDown. Sami Zayn started the match with his master strategy to attack McIntyre but the Scottish Warrior countered him with a fist to Zayn. Although the former Intercontinental Champion tried to dominate McIntyre, he failed to do so.
McIntyre showed his brutality on Sami Zayn and tried to deliver a superplex from the top rope. However, Sami slipped down with a sunset powerbomb to the former WWE Champion. The match continues after the commercial break and Sami Zayn attempted a blue thunder bomb but McIntyre countered it with a Glasgow kick.
Meanwhile, The Usos appear on the ringside while McIntyre was ready to deliver the Claymore. However, McIntyre picks his win with a claymore.
Raquel Rodriguez & Aliyah vs Sonya Deville & Natalya: Natalya and Aliyah started the match in the tag team semi-finals. Aliyah tries multiple pin attempts at the start, but Natalya gets her off guard and delivers a falcon arrow on the ringside.
The match continues after a commercial break with Sonya Deville and Natalya trying to decimate Raquel Rodriguez. Sonya Deville overpowered Raquel Rodriguez, slamming her into the corner. Later, Deville caught Raquel in the neck hold and she decimates both Sonya Deville and Natalya.
Although Sonya Deville and Natalya try to defeat Raquel Rodriguez, they failed to continue their momentum. In the end, Raquel delivered a Texana Bomb to win the match.
Sheamus faces off Gunther: Sheamus addressed the WWE Universe with his upcoming match with Gunther for the Intercontinental Title at Clash at the Castle. The Celtic Warrior mocked Gunther and called himself the ring General. However, the Ring General marched to the ring and faced off with Sheamus.
Both men confronted each other and battled in a war of words. The Intercontinental Champion gave a bold warning to Sheamus to deliver a chop to the Celtic Warrior at Clash at the Castle and retain his title. Meanwhile, Butch attacked Ludwig Kaiser in the ring, while Gunther and Sheamus stared at each other. In the end, both men stop their proteges and give a scary look to each other.
Last Chance Fatal 4-way match: Tamina and Sonya Deville start the match but soon tags change with Xia li and Nikki A.S.H. Later, tags changed continuously who dominated Nikki A.S.H. Soon, Doudrop entered the match attacking other superstars in the ring but Shotzi and Xia Li double team taking down Doudrop.

Meanwhile, tags change once again, Dana Brooke and Nikki A.S.H compete in the ring. The match ends in a short time after Sonya Deville tags in secretly while Nikki A.S.H and Dana Brooke take down all four teams on the ground with a superplex. Later, Deville takes Nikki A.S.H pinning her for the victory.
Ricochet vs Happy Corbin: Friday Night SmackDown kicked off with One and Only Ricochet and Happy Corbin. Ricochet gave a strong start to the match, attacking the former US Champion with his amazing athleticism. However, Corbin gives a hard punch, knocking out his opponent, but this didn’t stop the high-flyer. Later, Corbin got knocked out on the ringside after Ricochet’s takedown.
The match continues after the commercial break with Ricochet dominating the match. Meanwhile, Corbin caught Ricochet slamming him on the announce desk. Soon, the former MITB winner takes control of the match, out-powering his opponent. Later, the high-flyer countered Corbin’s End of Days with a DDT but once again Corbin took control of the match with a deep six.
Both men fought hard, decimating each other. In the final moments of the match, Ricochet delivered a combination of super kicks followed by a shooting star press to win the match.
