WWE News: Vince McMahon rejected Becky Lynch being turned babyface at SummerSlam

At SummerSlam 2022, Becky Lynch finally turned babyface after an epic clash against Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Title. However, the decision of turning Becky Lynch into babyface once again wasn’t supported by former WWE CEO & Chairman Vince McMahon.

Recently, Wade Keller from PWTorchVIP.com audio show mentioned backstage news on Becky Lynch’s babyface turn. He mentioned that Becky Lynch won’t be shown as a babyface if Vince McMahon was still in charge of WWE’s creative team.

“I can now confirm Becky was not gonna turn if Vince McMahon was still in control. That was a Paul Levesque call. I just got confirmation on that. She would have been a heel as we’re talking right now if McMahon was still running things. So, one big change early on there,” reported Wade Keller. (H/T WrestlingNews.co)
