WWE Clash at the Castle 2022: Former WWE Champion to challenge Gunther for the Intercontinental Title
On the recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Sheamus competed in a fatal 5-way match alongside Sami Zayn, Madcap Moss, Ricochet, and Happy Corbin. WWE fans saw all five superstars in an intense battle. The Montreal crowd cheered for Sami Zayn who kicked off the match with powerful hits.
However, the Celtic Warrior showed impressive strength against other superstars with decisive blows. During the ending moments of the match, Happy Corbin tried to steal the victory, but Sheamus hit him with a Brogue Kick. With this win, Sheamus will challenge Gunther for the Intercontinental Title at Clash at the Castle. Currently, Sheamus won every title on the main roster except the Intercontinental Title.
Last week, Gunther defeated Shinsuke Nakamura in a title match defending his title with a clear win. Ever since Gunther debuted on Friday Night SmackDown, he dominated the roster with some exciting matches to watch out for. Back in June, Gunther defeated Ricochet to win the Intercontinental Title and defended it twice since winning it.

WWE Clash at the Castle 2022: Will Sheamus win his first Intercontinental title?
Sheamus has accomplished many milestones in WWE and secured many title victories. In recent years, Sheamus has been successful in winning the WWE Title, US Title, and tag team titles. However, he is yet to conquer the Intercontinental Title. Currently, he is one of the top competitors on the blue brand who could go toe to toe against Gunther.
Gunther has been a dominant superstar since his NXT UK days. He held the NXT UK Title for nearly 870 days with many exciting matches to look out for. Both men are top superstars on the main roster and would throw a great show at Clash at the Castle.
