As per the recent reports, Drew McIntyre is suffering from a back injury which resulted in WWE pulling him from the many house shows. Although the injury isn’t severe, WWE management has kept him out of action from the house shows until a positive update on his medical condition.
Fightful can confirm that Drew McIntyre has been working through a rough back injury that led to him being pulled from the road this weekend.

Recently, Sean Ross Sapp from Fightful reported the former WWE Champion’s injury. Ross detailed McIntyre’s current condition in his tweet.
“Fightful can confirm that Drew McIntyre has been working through a rough back injury that led to him being pulled from the road this weekend. Surgery isn’t expected, and he’s still planned for Clash at the Castle.”, tweeted Sean Ross Sapp.
As reported, McIntyre is still scheduled for Clash at the Castle Premium Live Event. Recently, he was a part of Friday Night SmackDown where he decimated The Usos in a 2-on-1 match.

Next week, he will come face to face against the Head of the Table Roman Reigns on Friday Night SmackDown.
WWE Clash at the Castle 2022: Will Drew McIntyre win the Undisputed Universal Title?
There is no doubt Drew McIntyre is one of the top superstars in WWE with a great wrestling career. Next month, he will face the biggest challenge of his life when he fights the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Universal Title at Clash at the Castle. However, his path to victory would be difficult with enemies’ sighting for the Undisputed Title as well.
Karrion Kross and Theory stand as a major threat to the Scottish Warrior. It is likely that both men would try to interfere in the match to avoid McIntyre from winning his title. Precisely, it is expected Theory would cash in his MITB contract at Clash at the Castle.
