Ever since Vince McMahon announced his retirement, WWE went through drastic changes. With Triple H being the new Head of WWE’s creative team, he has already brought several superstars into the spotlight. In addition, WWE fans saw several superstars returning to the company after Vince McMahon’s retirement.
Recently, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio mentioned he heard talks about back Sasha Banks and Naomi’s WWE return.
“Last week, which was the last I checked, the contract hadn’t been signed but they were all expecting that it was happening,” Meltzer said. “They were all on the same page. I was basically told it’s as good as done, but they haven’t signed, so it could fall through. They may have already signed by now. But a week ago, it was already ‘They’re back.’ It could be tomorrow, it could be in a couple of weeks. It’s whatever day they want.” [H/T Wrestling Inc]

WWE News: WWE commenced the Women’s Tag Team Tournament for the vacant tag titles
Last week, WWE Official Adam Pearce announced Tag Team Tournament for the vacant women’s tag team tiles. This week, WWE held the first qualifying match for the tournament featuring Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky against Dana Brooke and Tamina. The match resulted in the victory for Bayley’s new stablemates after Iyo Sky’s impressive win.
The tag team tournament will continue on this week’s Friday Night SmackDown. In addition, WWE has also added Nikkita Lyons and Zoey stark from the WWE’s developmental territory NXT 2.0 to face one of the SmackDown tag teams in the qualifying round.
